Meditation & Buddhism Classes in Auckland
Weekly Drop-in Classes
In each class a different aspect of meditation and Buddhism is explained, offering simple, practical advice that we can use to develop peaceful and positive minds. The classes are self-contained so you can drop in any week. There is no need to book or bring anything. Classes begin with a simple guided breathing meditation followed by a teaching and a second meditation based on the topic. There is also an opportunity for questions and discussion, followed by refreshments. Beginners are welcome. Please arrive on time so as not to disturb the meditation sessions. Introduction to Meditation : Meditations For A Clear Mind

Through meditation we are able to reduce feelings of stress and unhappiness while increasing our natural sense of wellbeing. This is a valuable skill in our busy world. 'Introduction to meditation' is the perfect way to start a regular meditation practice. In this course we will learn simple yet powerful meditations that improve our concentration, mental clarity, and enable us to experience tranquility in the midst of our turbulent lives. Course Information: The course consists of three 1 hour sessions and includes a meditation CD for participants to use in their own time. (CD only if booking for the 3 week series). It is suitable for beginners as well as those wishing to improve their meditation skills. Everyone is welcome.
Course Fees & Bookings:
Option 1:
Drop-in any week, casual class. Costs $12 per class (CD not included). No need to book.
Option 2:
Book for the course of 3 classes. Costs $65. Includes a meditation CD for participants to use in their own time. Booking is essential.
